COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSING
Community Health Nursing Department
The Department of Community Health Nursing is involved in the training of undergraduate students in the field of community health nursing. Students are trained in the area of family assessment and community assessment to identify health problems of people living in the community.
Students are further trained to make referrals for people identified to have problems and to provide health education with an emphasis on primary prevention.
Field Work & Outreach: The department has been conducting surveys, school visits, and home visits to promote health services in Tilwara & Panagar areas.
We observe all national health days by arranging awareness programs based on the specific needs of the community, ensuring our students are deeply connected with public health initiatives.
